Goodbye America

Welcome to our blog! Here we will tell you the stories to come from the adventure we're about to embark on. We will try to update as much as possible depending on our internet in Zambia!

The last 3 days have been very busy moving out of our apartment and packing for our trip but we are FINALLY done moving out! We are staying at my (Bailey's) brothers house in Waverly tonight and then heading to Omaha tomorrow to fly out! (That sounds crazy as I type it) We will be in Europe for 10 days before we get to Zambia so we will try to put up a few pictures of that trip on here but it could take us a while to get a blog up after we get to Africa so just keep checking. :) Here are a few pictures of the move before and after. Crazy!

We want to say a HUUUGGEEE thank you to all of our donors, supporters, and prayer team for your amazing support already. I saw this verse one day when we were just starting to plan our trip and it's truth has been repeatedly brought to my attention since then because every day it has seemed like God's blessings exceeded any vision I had.

Eph 3:20 "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

We have had quite a few financial 'surprises' already and yet, God has just provided everything we have needed. And those surprises have helped us see that God's vision for us is so much BIGGER than our own so we can trust Him with everything. It is amazing to see His faithfulness and the generosity of our donors. So thank you all so much for your support and prayers, we are truly grateful!

...and YES we are VERY excited!!!! :) It is feeling more real now for sure!

Would you pray for: our health as we travel, that we wouldn't have any more big delays or cancellations in our many plane rides (12 in all over the next 3 months), for us to be full of grace towards each other, that we would enjoy our travels, and that God would prepare our hearts for what is to come.

Love,

Bailey
